Begin with the
end in mind! Any publication of this information you could offer,
Thanks!
Try to define
yourself without saying, "what you do." My response, I
am a human being, busy being and doing the most I can as an individual
to make the world better.
If I begin with
the end in mind, I take on each moment with the task at
hand to perform. The end result becomes my focus in the present
moment. At present I do web/graphic design, sculpting, painting
and am married-with-children off to college and life. How then do
I end up being the featured artist for the Black Hills Wild Turkey
Federations annual banquet on March 8, 2003 at the Ramokota, Rapid
City, SD?
Simply put,
I said yes, I can do three paintings in three months.
What was I thinking,
or was I? I like a challenge. After all Monet once painted 24 paintings
in 3 months while visiting Holland on his way back from England
at the end of the Franco-Prussian War. However, Monet filled his
days painting. In this age of technology and short attention span,
being "souly" a painter or an artist is not going to make
it for me.
The painters
of the Renaissance, Monet or Russell had the advantage of defining
a time period evolving in their life time. I am not wanting to painting
a "mother board" or searching online to find a way to
sell a million prints.
However, the
National Wild Turkey Federation is about saving green space to benefit
wildlife, saving a turkey population from extinction and creating
research that will enhance the environment in which young and old
can benefit. I love watching the turkey, deer and birds around my
home in the hills. I want to help preserve a better environment
for my children and the world.

National Wild Turkey Federation Banquet. This link shows the progress
thus far of the three painting and the process of creation for my
paintings (enclosed print out if mailed).
I offer my talents
in the spirit of community responsibility. You could provide a platform
for other individuals to learn more about this organization, their
neighbors (the turkeys, deer and other wildlife) and discover a
new focus they may be interested in.
